2013 Adidas x Jeremy Scott Wings 2.0 Money
Celebrating the decade long partnership between adidas Originals and fashion designer Jeremy Scott, the 2013 ‘Money Wings’ 2.0 sneaker features a fabric based on the originals from 2003.
In 2003, Scott designed the limited edition Money Forum Hi as part of the i-sign project. The shoe featured the classic dollar print in a silk fabric. Of the original idea, Scott says, “It was inspired by American television game shows and the concept of winning prizes like washing machines, luxurious vacations or a shopping cart full of cash.”
With the launch of this shoe 10 years later, Scott’s adidas Originals Collection has continued to be updated every season since with new color and fabric combinations. For Fall/Winter 2013, the ‘Money Wings’ 2.0 featured a color-matching sole, exclusive woven jacquard and a second lacing system on the heel between the wings and goat leather lining.
